Finding a @bitty.bao logo design that fit our personalities and style took a ton of drafts, but this little guy whom we endearingly named “wave head” during our drafting phase eventually won over our hearts! As California moms, we especially like that he has a cool water shape vibe and reminds us of xiao long bao - yum!

Papercutting Art
When Lulu approached Lacey suggesting that they join forces to make a series of books, Lacey warned Lulu that traditional drawing and design wasn’t her thing. Lacey had always enjoyed creating art out of papercuttings - colored paper, scissors, and a trusty black sharpie have always been her tools of choice. All of Bitty Bao’s book artwork are made by hand with lots and lots of love.
